Stepping Into the Body

If only for the reason that they don’t ever have to stop playing a sound, it is commonly recognized that the stringed instruments form the bedrock of a symphony.

Wind and brass players can’t sustain over long periods the way strings can, thus drastically changing the capacities of each player. You could h ave an orchestra without strings, but it would be obvious that something is missing. I couldn’t imagine hearing Beethoven or Pachelbel without strings. To God, you are more important to the Body of Christ than strings are to an orchestra.
