I’m in: Because Success Doesn’t Depend on Me

Sometimes our past selves can be our worst enemy.

Whether it was the game winning touchdown when you were the high school quarterback, or the time you had to go to the prom without a date, our history likes to whisper lies and accuse us of failure. It is a harsh and powerful word, one which has brought many people down, causing us to either self-sabotage or give up prematurely. It is, however, not our destiny  —  Christ paid it all for us and then succeeded by getting up on Sunday morning. When we participate in His success, we cannot fail.
